REQUEST FOR RE-OPENING / RECONNECTION OF WATER SERVICE CONNECTION

Monday to Friday – 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

 

Who may avail of the service?

All customers with disconnected water service connection

 

What are the requirements?

Clearance of Accounts

  • Payment of Reconnection Fee
  • Preparation of Service Line after the meter

 

Duration

8 Minutes

-at meter stand / padlocked meter (reconnect within the day, if payment is made before 3:00 P.M.)

-Mainline reconnection will be accomplished within 5 days

 

How to avail of the service?

Step 1:

Customer: Presents statement of account or water bill to the Cashier

Service Provider: Accepts payment, issues Official Receipt (O.R.) and advises customer to proceed to Customer Account Division

Duration: 2 Minutes

Person In-charge: Cashier

Fees: Amount indicated in the water of bill

Form: None

 

Step 2:

Customer: Presents O.R. to Customer Accounts Division

Service Provider: Confirms payment, verifies cost of reconnection fee and advises customer to proceed to Cashier

Duration: 1 Minute

Person In-charge: Customer Service Assistant A

Fees: None

Form: None

 

Step 3:

Customer: Customer pays reconnection fee at the Cashier

Service Provider: Accepts payment, issues O.R. and advises customer to go back to Customer Account Division

Duration: 1 Minute

Person In-charge: Cashier

Fees: Cost of Reconnection Fee

Form: None

 

Step 4:

Customer: Presents O.R. to Customer Accounts Division

Service Provider: Confirms payment, prepares Job Order for reconnection, and explains to customer the details of the Job Order

Duration: 1 Minute

Person In-charge: Customer Service Assistant A

Fees: None

Form: None

 

Step 5:

Customer: At the site, customer acknowledges receipt of water meter

Service Provider: Reconnection Team issues Meter Installation Memo

Duration: 3 Minutes

Person In-charge: Reconnection Team

Fees: None
