ZCWD participates in PPA Dissemination Forum

On September 25, 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority Region IX office facilitated the Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) Dissemination Forum at the Sycamore Hall of WINN Hotel, this city. The PPA sought to present the FY2024 economic performance of Zamboanga City, and a comprehensive picture of the provincial economies. Participants to the activity were representatives from key government agencies who have provided essential economic data that went into the PPA.

The conduct of the said forum aims to provide planners, policy makers, and users a description and assessment of the overall performance of the economy in the province or highly urbanized city (HUC) in the given period. During the plenary, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on the data and findings.

In closing the activity, the ZCWD was among the partner agencies given a Plaque of Appreciation for its continuing support to the PPA. Following this activity, the ZCWD is eager to poise itself as a critical economic force for Zamboanga City.
