ZCWD Joins #WalkWithFaith Campaign in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In solidarity with the global campaign on breast cancer awareness, the City Government of Zamboanga, through its Gender and Development Services (GADS) and partner institutions, spearheaded the #WalkWithFaith: A Walk for a Cause Campaign as part of the city’s month-long activities in observance of International Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With the theme “#FAITH: We Fight. We Heal. We are Stronger with Faith,” the initiative aimed to raise awareness, strengthen community support, and advocate for early detection and prevention of breast cancer.

As part of its continuing Gender and Development (GAD) Program, the Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) joined the meaningful event to show its commitment to advancing women’s health, empowerment, and well-being.

The walk commenced from Zamboanga Central School and concluded at Paseo del Mar, where participants gathered in unity to celebrate resilience, hope, and strength in the fight against breast cancer.

Through its participation, ZCWD reaffirms its support for initiatives that promote public health and gender equality, standing together with the community in the shared mission to save lives and inspire hope.
