The Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) and LANDCO Pacific Corporation formalized their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and Deed of Donation on April 23, 2026. Ms. Rosemarie T. Napao, Vice-President for Sales Administration and Title Transfer Head, represented LANDCO Pacific Corporation. Ms. Louella A. Aguilera, Acting General Manager, represented ZCWD.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) specifically covers the construction and extension of the water supply and distribution system, with an estimated cost exceeding ₱6.0 million, including all necessary facilities and infrastructure for Woodridge Garden Village Phase II in Barangay Lunzuran.
An engineering assessment conducted by the Technical Services Group established that the existing Lunzuran pipeline has insufficient capacity to meet the projected demand of the development. In view thereof, the development of an additional groundwater source, such as a deep well, is deemed necessary to ensure adequate and sustainable water supply for the area.
The MOA covers the construction of the Phase II Water Distribution System. Upon completion, LANDCO Pacific Corporation shall donate the completed system, including all appurtenances, to ZCWD.
Engr. Marli P. Acosta – De Fiesta, Assistant General Manager of the Technical Services Group, witnessed the signing for ZCWD, Engr. Clydeon Micro C. Cantina, Project Engineer, represented LANDCO Pacific Corporation, and Atty. Rina Bendano, OIC-Legal Services Division of ZCWD, was also present. This partnership demonstrates ZCWD’s commitment to collaboration between public utilities and private developers. Through such initiatives, ZCWD advances its mission to provide sustainable water services that support economic growth, business development, and community well-being. The partnership aims to ensure a reliable and efficient water supply for current and future residents of Woodridge Garden Village Phase II in Barangay Lunzuran.
