AMENDMENTS TO THE CONTRACT OF WATER SERVICE CONNECTION OF THE ZAMBOANGA CITY WATER DISTRICT (ZCWD)
Pursuant to Board Resolution No. 058, Series of 2026, amending Board Resolution No. 102 – 2008 of the ZCWD’s existing Contract of Water Service Connection effective July 26, 2026.
Due to changes in human activities, customer requirements, technological developments, and the evolving circumstances affecting water service administration, there is a need to update and amend the existing Contract of Water Service Connection to incorporate provisions and conditions not previously contemplated but necessary to ensure efficient, effective, and responsive delivery of water services;
The amendments include, among others:
– Updated provisions on compliance with application requirements,
– Certified plumbing system requirements,
– Service connection charges and fees,
– Customer deposit policies,
– Protection of water meters and appurtenances,
– Payment responsibilities, illegal and prohibited uses,
– Disconnection, transfer of ownership/ account, and other terms necessary to regulate the relationship between ZCWD and its customers;
