ZCWD EMERGENCY ADVISORY 003-2020 (COVID-19)

 

ZCWD EXTENDS PAYMENT PERIOD FOR RECEIVED BILLING AS OF MARCH 19, 2020

The Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) wishes to inform its consuming public that with the declaration of a State of Public Health Emergency, City of Zamboanga Executive Order No. BC 552-2020 and related issuances, water bills delivered between  March 8 to March 19, 2020, will have an EXTENDED PAYMENT PERIOD of 40 days from the due date without surcharges.

NO SURCHARGES for bills due between the period of March 20 to April 14, 2020 will be imposed until April 27, 2020.

Bills due March 7 and earlier (within March 2020) will have an extended payment period of until April 27, 2020.

ZCWD Main Office and all its field offices and collection centers will be closed for public transactions effective March 20, 2020 until further notice.

ZCWD services such as new water connection applications and disconnection of water services are temporarily suspended. Maintenance activities and repairs works shall continue to ensure water supply service.

As water is vital in maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation, particularly that the proper hand washing prevents the spread of COVID-19, reconnection services, subject to inspection, will be entertained.  Please call the numbers below.
