Operations Manager Alvin G. Hung of Bio Lactis Marketing Corporation was appointed by Zamboanga City Mayor Maria Isabelle G. Climaco to the Zamboanga City Water District Board. He was formally sworn, March 21, 2022.
Dir. Hung, represented the Civic-Oriented Service Clubs Sector, particularly the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), Zamboanga City Chapter. He will serve the unexpired term of former Board Secretary Dr. Myl Johann R. Amsid effective March 21, 2022 until December 31, 2026.
A seasoned executive, Dir. Hung served as Executive Assistant to the City Mayor of Zamboanga, Consultant to the office of Deputy Speaker, Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Assistant to the Commissioner representing Mindanao National Youth Commission.
Previously, he served as Instructor in Accounting, Finance and Management at the College of Management and Accountancy at Ateneo de Zamboanga University and Ateneo Professional Center and he was also a Part-time Instructor in Financial Management at the College of St. Benilde (Export Management Department), De La Salle University.
Dir. Hung finished his degree in Accountancy at Ateneo de Zamboanga University and is a Certified Public accountant (11th placer CPA Board Examination) and finished top 10 (batch) in Financial Management and Analyst Test from the University of the Philippines – Diliman, Center for Finance Development.
He attended Rotary International Group Study Exchange at Central Massachusetts, USA in 2009 and US – Mexican Studies at The University of California San Diego (UCSD), USA in 2006.
Presently Dir. Hung is completing his post graduate studies at Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Business, Masters in Business Administration – Regis Program with credits from Toulouse Business School, France and with credits from ESSCA Hungary Foundation School of Management.
He will join the water district board composed of BOD Chairperson Dir. James Cesar L. Makasiar (Professional Sector), BOD Vice-Chairperson Dir. Abram M. Eustaquio (Educational Sector), BOD Secretary Dir. Jesalie M. Saavedra (Women Sector) and BOD -Member Dir. Arnold Martin B. Atilano (Business/Financial Sector).
