The Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) on the initiative of ZCWD Board of Directors headed by Chairperson Ernesto F. Ubando, Jr., local contractors HHH Construction, Pacific Hardware, Bendemil Construction and HGP Construction along with other private companies Nacy Fishing Corp., and KCC Mall de Zamboanga and public organizations the Philippine Red Cross and the Zamboanga City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (ZCDRRMO) extended assistance to the ZCWD in the distribution of water at Talon – Talon, Putik, San Roque, Sinunuc, Ayala, Maasin, San Jose, Tumaga, Campung Islam, Mampang, San Jose, Gusu, Tugbungan, Tetuan, Malagutay, Canelar, Boalan, Divisoria, Sta. Maria, Guiwan, Baliwasan, Tulungatung, Upper Calarian and other areas affected by typhoon Paeng.
