“PASS-ON 2% FRANCHISE TAX”

ZCWD is required to withhold a 2% Franchise Tax as determined by the Local Water Utility Board of Trustees Resolution No. 285-2004 and Memorandum Circular No. 004-22, Bureau of Internal Revenue Regulations No. 7-2019.

ZCWD Customers who are required to submit BIR form 2307 must still submit the same for the settlement of their accounts for proper posting and recording of withholding tax. Please settle at the following: (Mondays – Fridays from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

1. ZCWD Main Office (Pilar St., Barangay Zone IV)
2. Governor Ramos Collection Center (Gov. Ramos, Barangay Sta. Maria)
3. Putik Collection Center (Daisy Road, Barangay Putik)
4. KCC Collection Center (KCC Mall de Zamboanga, Gov. Camins Road) 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The ZCWD will start to implement the passing-on of the 2% Franchise Tax starting October 2023 and will appear as “Franchise Tax” in the November 2023 bill.
