WATER METER MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT CHARGE (ZCWD B.R. 087 s. 2023 as amended)

ZCWD must implement and sustain the ZCWD Water Meter Maintenance and Replacement Program per LWUA Memorandum Circular No. 014-2010.

 

As part of the ZCWD’s effort to reduce its NRW and to ensure customers’ water meters are within the allowable thresholds of water meter accuracy, ZCWD implements the Water Meter Maintenance and Replacement Program.

The Water Meter Maintenance and Replacement Charge depends on the customers’ water meter size in a monthly charge basis.

The water meter size is indicated on the left corner of the ZCWD water bill (refer to the encircled).

The ZCWD will start to implement the charging of the Water Meter Maintenance and Replacement Charge starting October 2023 and will appear as a “Maintenance Fee” in the November 2023 bill.
