Pursuant to section 5 of Presidential Decree No. (P.D.) 198, otherwise known as the βProvincial Water Utilities Act of 1972β, as amended, the Zamboanga City Water District Board of Directors approved and issued Board Resolution No. 115 series of 2023, entitled: a resolution amending BR no.092 series of 2023 approving the “ππππ β ππππππππππ ππ πππππ ππππππππππ ππππ πππππ ππππππ πππ πππππππππ πππππ πππππ π

1. Water distribution by ZCWD shall be done through a pipe distribution system within its service areas.
2. Water delivery may be made in areas with water supply problems, elevated topography, emergencies, and other man-made or natural disasters.
3. Unless on account of emergencies, water delivery may only be given due course and shall be billed from a verified registered water service connection.
4. The following shall be eligible for water delivery:
a. Duly registered ZCWD customer/s within a service area with water supply issues.
b. Registered customer/s has an active service connection and has no unpaid accounts or unsettled illegal connection penalties.
c. Except in case of emergencies as stated in item 3, the registered customer shall be required to pay the water delivery requested in advance.
d. In the case of water delivery with multiple registered customers, a single registered customer with appropriate storage of water for volume delivered may be identified. Provided customer shall be billed under commercial rates on account of sharing / selling of water under LWUA manual of water rates.
e. Customers affected by the implementation of a water rationing scheme or water interruption shall not be eligible for water delivery.
f. Water deliveries shall not be made to areas deemed inaccessible or may inevitably cause damage to ZCWD tankers or injuries to ZCWD employees.
