The El Niño phenomenon is currently affecting the water supply of Zamboanga City. As per the Water Resources Management Office El Niño Bulletin 001, ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICES are directed to implement strict water conservation measures including the shutdown of their main water valves during the non-operation hours, specifically from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

All private establishments and households are likewise enjoined to follow the same directive.

We will be able to overcome the drought we are currently experiencing if we collectively conserve our water supply.
