Earlier this Tuesday, February 20, The Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) conducted a solemn blessing ceremony for the acquired six (6) tricycles at the Motor Pool, ZCWD Pasonanca Office. The event was also attended by key figures from the organization.

Among the dignitaries gracing the event were ZCWD’s esteemed Board of Directors headed by Chairperson Ernesto F. Ubando, Jr., Director John Federick P. Ruiz and Director Alan B. Dela Cruz. Additionally, representatives from the ZCWD Management under the leadership of Acting General Manager (AcGM) Reynaldo R. Cabilin, Assistant General Manager for Administration (AGM – Admin) Louella A. Aguilera, and Assistant General Manager for Technical Services Group (AGM – TSG) Engr. Marli Acosta – De Fiesta.

These tricycles are to be utilized by the Water Meter Maintenance Division, headed by Officer-In-Charge (OIC) Alva Marie C. Conti, and by the Pipelines and Appurtenances Maintenance Department, headed by OIC – Engr. Mark Benedict C. Reyes, for fieldwork purposes.

The blessing ceremony not only symbolizes the official integration of these new assets into ZCWD’s fleet but also serves as a testament to the organization’s dedication to continual improvement and innovation in fulfilling its mandate of providing reliable water services to the community.
