From 01 March to 30 April 2024, Any person who shall voluntarily inform ZCWD of the existence of an illegal connection as defined and penalized under R.A. 8041, subject to the following conditions as follows:

1. The person who benefits from the illegal connection voluntarily appears before the Illegal Connection Investigation Unit (ICIU) of the Legal Department and provides the following details:

a. His name, address, contact details, and other necessary personal particulars as may be required by the ICIU;

b. The number of persons benefitting from such illegal connection;

c. The exact location of the illegal connection, and the date when such illegality occurred;

2. Persons found to have been previously apprehended or with pending case(s) of illegal water service connection may be deemed DISQUALIFIED from the availment of the amnesty;

3. The ICIU, upon receipt of the above information shall within one (1) working day schedule a site inspection to verify the existence of the illegal connection, in the presence of the person who gave information relative thereto;

4. Upon verification and confirmation of the existence of such illegal connection by the ICIU, the person who voluntarily gave such information shall sign a Sworn Statement of Undertaking;

5. The findings of the ICIU, along with the duly executed Sworn Statement of Undertaking shall be submitted by way of Memorandum for the approval of the General Manager, thru the favorable recommendation of the Legal Department Head;

6. Upon approval of the General Manager, the Legal Department shall endorse such person who voluntarily gave information, to the Customer Services Division for the processing of a new water service connection, or the Customer Accounts Division for the processing of reconnection of water service connection, as may be applicable;

7. The Legal Department thru the ICIU shall regularly monitor the person’s water service connection to ensure that the same is already free from any violation of R.A. 8041 or any ZCWD policies;
