APRIL 05, 2024 – The Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) formalized an agreement with Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) through a memorandum of agreement and deed of donation signing at the ZCWD Board Room. This agreement marks the official turnover of the Water System Facilities of Villa San Ignacio Subdivision to the Zamboanga City Water District.

Situated along Tumaga-Lunzuran Road, Villa San Ignacio Subdivision boasts its own water system infrastructure, including a groundwater source equipped with an Overhead and Sump Tank System, pipelines, appurtenances, hydrants, and an elevated water tank. With this agreement in place, residents of the subdivision will be connected to the water supply services provided by ZCWD.

Representing ZCWD, Acting General Manager Reynaldo R. Cabilin, Assistant General Manager for Technical Services Group Engr. Marli Acosta-De Fiesta, and Assistant General Manager for Administration Louella A. Aguilera affixed their signatures to the agreement. On behalf of FLI, signatories included Vice President for Regional General Manager for Mindanao, Ms. Sharon Luntao; Senior Assistant Vice President for Zamboanga Branch and Territory Sales Head Mrs. Sheila Padua; and Technical and Commercial Administrator for Countrywide Water Service Inc. Ms. Ivy de Asis.

The ZCWD extends its gratitude to the dedicated FLI team members who graced this event with their presence: Ms. Lynneth Auriece Encarnacion, the Regional Marketing Manager for Mindanao; Ms. Ivy Gamotin, the Senior Project Manager for Mindanao; Ms. Jamil Macalimbol, the Marketing Support Associate; and Ms. Grace Pasol, the Billing and Collection Analyst for Countrywide Water Service Incorporated. Special appreciation is also extended to our esteemed ZCWD colleagues who assisted in the event: Mr. Raul Ruben R. Rivera, Jr., Officer-in-Charge for the Community Relations and External Affairs Section; and Atty. Ekeena O. Lim, Senior Corporate Attorney/Officer-in-Charge of the Legal Services Division.

This collaboration not only underscores the commitment of both parties to ensure sustainable water management but also reflects a shared vision for enhancing the quality of life for residents within Villa San Ignacio Subdivision and the broader Zamboanga City community.
