MAY 11, 2024 – City Mayor John M. Dalipe and Majority Floor Leader Congressman Jose Manuel โMannixโ M. Dalipe led the ceremonial commissioning of the Governor Ramos Production Well this morning, May 11, 2024.
The fully operational PW, which first came online in 1989 and was decommissioned in January 2021. Now, the PW is projected to serve 1,400 households in the area specifically Gov. Ramos: From crossing Santa Maria to Governor Ramos to Junction Lupong Don Pablo with a rated production of 1.2 Million Liters per Day (MLD)
Joining the ceremony were the ZCWD Board of Directors, with Board Chairperson Ernesto F. Ubando Jr., Board Vice-Chairperson Atty. John Paul S. Pagteilan, Board Secretary John Federick P. Ruiz, Board Members Alan B. Dela Cruz and Eunice S. Dalisay, and ZCWD General Manager Reynaldo R. Cabilin.
Also persent during the event, representing Barangay Santa Maria, Kagawad Cielo Fabian, and City Councilor Jerome Santos.
With the support of Mayor John Dalipe and Congressman Mannix Dalipe, to date, the ZCWD has recomissioned 4 PWs to mitigate the effects of El Niรฑo, with the previous being Ayala PW, Tulungatung PW, and Baliwasan PW.
