JUNE 3, 2024 – Representatives of the Zamboanga City Water District’s Technical Services Group led by Assistant General Manager Engr. Marli P. Acosta De-Fiesta was invited to the first regular session of Barangay Arena Blanco earlier at the Arena Blanco Barangay Hall. Opening the session was the Punong Barangay Alih M. Abdulhusin, Kagawads Hji. Adzmir A. Abdulaup, Sahara A. Taradji, Hji. Sitti Rigana H. Imamil, Suharto A. Centi, Jerry B. Kadil, Barangay Administrator Hji. Pindston I. Talib, and SK Chairperson Hji. Hoven M. Tandiko. Hon. Abdulhusin expressed his gratitude to Engr. De-Fiesta for attending the session together with the barangay council. The session mostly focused on establishing coordination efforts regarding service lines of ZCWD to the Arena Blanco community.

Also attending the event on behalf of the ZCWD were OIC-Planning Division, Engr. Carolyn M. Torino, OIC-Design Division Engr. Edito M. Bautista, Jr., and Public Relations Officer Darwisa B. Salip Akarab.

The collaborative spirit exhibited during the session promises a fruitful partnership between the ZCWD and Barangay Arena Blanco, ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable services to the community. With both parties committed to mutual cooperation, the future holds great potential for further enhancements in water service provision and community development.
