October 29, 2024 – To culminate its 50th-anniversary celebration, the Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) unveiled the 50th Anniversary Marker, the new ZCWD Logo, and launched the 50th Commemorative Coffee Table Book. The marker at the entrance of the ZCWD Main Office honors the legacy of those who have served the ZCWD over the years.

Following the event at the ZCWD Main Office, the new logo and coffee table book were unveiled and launched at the Marcian Convention Hall. The ZCWD New Logo was designed by Mr. Joshua L. Madrazo from Western Mindanao State University College of Architecture. The new logo symbolizes ZCWD’s commitment to clean, safe, and reliable water services, presented by Corporate Planning Department Officer In-charge Atty. Anne Aubrey R. De Guzman-Bugtong. Mr. Madrazo, represented by Dean Ar. Ruby Alita A. Sahi, received the reward and plaque of appreciation.

The 50th Commemorative Coffee Table Book, presented by CTB Head Maria Dolores H. Concepcion, commemorates ZCWD’s history and contributions to Zamboanga City, capturing its milestones, challenges, and triumphs. Copies were distributed to key stakeholders and partners.

The ZCWD Board of Directors, led by Chairperson Ernesto F. Ubando, Jr., and General Manager Reynaldo R. Cabilin, thanked all contributors to the celebration, including the Local Government Unit of Zamboanga City and other government and private sector partners.
