A collaborative effort of ZCWD, Barangay Tetuan and Philippine National Police (PNP), PS-6 Tetuan

 

 

January 14, 2025 (Tuesday) – The Zamboanga City Water District headed by General Manager Reynaldo R. Cabilin and Assistant General Manager for Operations Group, Atty. Mark Allen M. Paredes, assisted by the Punong Barangay of Barangay Tetuan, Hon. Richard F. Mariano, presented the Plaque of Appreciation to the concerned citizens and Police Officers during the said Barangay’s Flag Ceremony, yesterday, January 13, 2025.

The said Plaque of Appreciation was awarded as part of the successful citizen arrest of the alleged ZCWD Water Meter theft last December 29, 2024. The swift resolution was made possible through the collaborative effort of PSMS Kimhar Ulanghutan Elias, PMSG Butch L. Canones, Mr. Edwin B. Encarnacion, Mr. Joseph L. Iglesias, and Mr. Antonio C. Lim.

General Manager Cabilin stressed that the support of Barangay Tetuan, and the Police Officers showed the value of community cooperation, public safety and commitment to justice which mirrors the ZCWD’s ongoing campaign against water meter theft.

General Manager Cabilin also extends his gratitude to Kap Richard F. Mariano for his effort and support for the ZCWD.

ZCWD Board of Directors, Chairperson Ernesto F. Ubando, Jr. continuously supports the ongoing campaign of the district to ensure water is safe and properly distributed from source to its customers.
