March 5, 2025 – In anticipation of the expected dry season forecasted by PAGASA, the Zamboanga City Water District (ZCWD) Board of Directors and General Manager directed an inspection of the Bulk Water Supply – Pamucutan Water Treatment Plant, managed by Primewater Infrastructure Corporation.

The assessment aimed to evaluate the facility’s capacity to sustain water supply, particularly in areas situated along the West Coast of Zamboanga City. Leading the inspection were the ZCWD Assistant General Manager for Operations Group, Atty. Mark Allen M. Paredes, Assistant General Manager for Technical Services Group Michael Angelo M. Carbon and Assistant General Manager for Administration Group Engr. Marli P. Acosta – De Fiesta. Also accompanying them were key representatives from the ZCWD Operations Group’s Pipelines and Appurtenances Maintenance Department (PAMD), Water Production Division, Water Quality Division, and Non-Revenue Water Division (NRWD).

This proactive measure highlights ZCWD’s commitment to ensuring a stable and sufficient water supply amid seasonal challenges.
