ZCWD clients from Ayala to San Jose/Ruste Drive are expected to have water service normalized by this morning after Primewater announced it was increasing water delivery to 1,500 cubic meters per hour.
In its latest update to ZCWD, Primewater upped its bulkwater delivery to the city’s west coast areas at 10.30 this morning, stabilizing water flow from its Pamucutan plant to customers from Ayala to San Jose, Ruste Drive.
Engr. Marli de Fiesta of TSG and Engr. Teotimo Reyes Jr. of the Operations group declared water service, earlier disrupted by technical problems due to heavy rainfall and the storm surge, have normalized.
Engr. de Fiesta added Injection point 13, which would allow water downward to Buenavista, Ledesma bridge vicinity, is still closed as flushing operations continue.
Water service will extend to the area by this afternoon as soon as cleansing and flushing operations conclude.
Meanwhile, operations of the district’s production wells will start winding down as operations normalize.
Engr. Leo Espinosa in charge of ZCWD production wells operations said Ayala II Production well has been shut down at 10.50 am. Three other production wells are still operating namely Tulungatung I, Masiay and Malasiga.
The districts production wells were ordered re-commissioned by General Manager Leonardo Rey Vasquez to augment water production in the west coast at the height of the production cut down at Prime water last Sunday.
Your understanding in this situation is highly enjoined.
