Convenience is now enhanced in the payment of water bills as Zamboanga City Water District announced that Bayad Centers are now accepting payments.

Angelo Conti, head of the MISD unit at ZCWD, reported that integration had been completed.

Conti disclosed an initial list of Bayad centers accepting water bill payments are
Vino Y Espirito branches at Yubengco Mall in San Jose Gusu, Feliz Hotel in Brgy. Putik, and One-Stop Bayad Center at Gov. Camins Avenue. Also on the list is Express Payment Solutions at Auntie Nitz Bakeshop, Veterans Avenue, and select USSC Zamboanga branches located at Southway Square department store and N.S. Valderosa St.

These, according to Conti, are part of 1,600+ nationwide touchpoints where customers can pay their ZCWD water bill. Conti added a service fee of Php10 per transaction charged by the Bayad Center or Partner on top of the amount of the ZCWD bill.

Only current bills (on or before the due date), without arrears or penalties, and the exact amount only, are accepted at this time. Payments made through Bayad centers and partners will be on a day-after crediting basis.

Those with arrears and penalties are advised to settle their accounts at the ZCWD Main office at Pilar St.

The various water bill payment schemes have been worked out to allow ZCWD customers hassle-free and safe transactions in settling their accounts from the comforts of their homes and neighborhood, adding more payment options for its customers, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.

More Bayad Center and partners will be added in the coming months. Customers are encouraged to visit the ZCWD FB page and website and subscribe to our ZCWD Viber community to get periodic updates.
